Christmas Gift Making Workshops
Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December
These Christmas gift-making workshops are for all the family to enjoy. Set in my Mullumbimby garden jewellery studio you will create at least six gorgeous pieces with your own signature style. I will personally guide your process as you are inspired by my enormous array of amazing treasures collected over the years from my travels around the world. The cost is $120 for parent and child per day, and the choice of day is up to you, or you can do both. A healthy morning and afternoon tea is provided; please bring lunch.

School Holiday Workshops
‘Rain Hail or Shine’
2015 Byron Bay holiday program starts January 9th
A perfect way to keep your kids creatively entertained during the long summer break. A veritable Aladdin’s Cave set in my Mullumbimby jewellery studio, these workshops are always a great day. Your children will be intuitively guided to collect their own gems from my treasure trove of jewellery heaven. A broad range of Czechoslovakian glass stones, Swarovski crystals, pearls and more, will inspire them to create their own special pieces of jewellery, all the while being guided by me as I personally share my craft with each child. Suitable for girls and boys from seven years old and up. School holiday workshops run daily from the 9th of January until the end of holidays between 11.00am until 4.00pm. A healthy morning and afternoon tea is provided. Please bring lunch.

Margaret Olley Exhibition
As you can imagine it was a thrill to receive a call from the Tweed River Gallery asking me to create a range of jewellery inspired by the late great Australian artist Margaret Olley.
Commissioned to create a range inspired by this brilliant artist, I spent many hours researching her life’s work and a day sitting in her re-created studio absorbing this overwhelming aesthetic.
Incorporating broken china, her vibrant colour palette and prominent elements of Margaret Olley’s life I believe each piece of jewellery evokes a part of her eclectic spirit.
The gallery has done an outstanding job of recreating both her studio and home with a permanent installation. I urge you to put it on your bucket list, or if you’re visiting Byron Bay to take the pleasant drive up to Murwillumbah and check it out. A great experience, this exhibition is a MUST SEE.
It has been an honour to be aligned with this project where my work is available at the Tweed River Gallery store.
Every newsletter comes with a special find. Something I’ve found along my travels as I get around my town and others. So my first find is THE SILVER LINING store in downtown Mullumbimby. This delightful emporium is an absolute treasure. Sourcing top of the range vintage clothing and accessories, as well as curiosities and furniture from all corners – that you WISH you had discovered first. Check out some of their wares on my instagram. SO either Facebook, thesilverliningmullum OR Instagram silverlininginmullum.
